Central Business District – New Administrative Capital

The Central Business District (CBD) is one of the landmark projects of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, designed to become the economic and financial hub of the city. The district features 20 high-rise towers, including the Iconic Tower, which rises 385 meters to be the tallest building in Africa. Developed by CSCEC (China State Construction Engineering Corporation) in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Housing, the CBD includes office spaces, commercial areas, residential and hotel towers, green landscapes, and a central lake promenade. It aims to attract global investments and position Cairo as a leading business destination in the region.
